About Us
I started Natalie's Autism Tees from personal experience with my 10-year-old daughter Natalie, who is Autistic. Every day, as we venture into the world, I feel the sting of misunderstanding and impatience from others. When she doesn’t respond to someone’s words, I’ve seen faces twist with frustration or even turn rude, as if she’s intentionally ignoring them. But she’s not; she’s beautifully unique. Though she can speak, Natalie often doesn’t talk to strangers—her world is different, and that’s something I wish others could see and understand.
There have been countless moments when I’ve longed for a simple way to let the world know she’s Autistic and that she deserves patience and kindness. I’ve tried stickers, bracelets, and other items, but she wouldn’t wear them. That’s when I decided these shirts might be the key. I designed them to, most importantly, relay a clear message. They’re meant to remind others to pause, to be gentle, to see the person beyond the label.
My hope is that these shirts can open hearts and foster understanding—helping other parents supporting children like Natalie, and encouraging the public to approach every individual with patience and respect. Because everyone deserves kindness, and sometimes, all it takes is a little awareness to make a world of difference.
